Did you know Pure O can be removed completely in less than a couple of days?
Pure O is NOT what you think it is.
Believe me, I know what it's like to experience these sort of thoughts!
These are the most common Pure O thoughts:
Aggressive - Harming others or yourself
Sexual - Homosexual, aggressive sexual acts, perverse acts, incest (sex with relatives), pedophilia, masturbation and more
Religious - Extreme beliefs, obsessing about god or existence, thoughts about the devil and more
Health - Overwhelming obsessions about health, disease, death, physical self etc.
Other risks - Natural disasters, war, terrorism etc.
I thought I was going crazy as I stood next to people, including
family members, having these vile thoughts that made me feel scared and
concerned for myself and everyone around me.
Pure O is overwhelming and
disturbing.
Why was I thinking such things?
Because of the core anxiety that drove these inappropriate, anxious risk assessments.
Yes, Pure O and OCD are the same condition. The only difference is the subject matter. OCD sufferers focus on subject matter that psychology decided (but who knows why), would belong to the OCD category. These are subjects such as contamination, switching, checking and hoarding.
Pure O focuses people on matters such as sexuality, aggression, homosexuality etc. This doesn't make Pure O any different from Pure O despite what psychology will tell you.
Pure O focuses you on what WON'T happen, not what will.
That's how risk assessments work. They are not about positive outcomes, they are there to focus you on the WORST case scenario.
So whatever your thoughts are about, if you have Pure O or an anxiety disorder, they are NOT about truth - they oppose your core truth.
If you are having murderous thoughts - You're not a murderer
If you are having homosexual thoughts - You're not homosexual (IF YOU HAVE PURE O)
Do you see the pattern? It's actually very simple.
Pure O sufferers often experience a group of other symptoms.
These are symptoms of the core anxiety condition and not of a separate disorder. You cannot experience OCD or Pure O unless you have an anxiety disorder.
These (below) are the most common symptoms that PureO sufferers experience alongside their inappropriate thoughts... it's not an exhaustive list; it includes the more common symptoms.
You may or may not experience some of these; the amount you suffer from or the severity of your symptoms is not an indicator of the severity of your disorder. Whether you experience one or all of these, you have an anxiety disorder and it needs to be addressed and removed in order to free you from your condition.
